V Salão de Robótica

On the 16th and 17th of August, Riobotz competed for the second time in the V Salão de Robótica at the Colombo Campus of the Federal University of Paraná. The event aims to present to the public the evolution in the area of robotics, it involved multiple competitions: Robot Combat (from 0,33lb to 3lb), Sumo (1.1lb), Line Follower and The Brazilian Robotic Olympics.

The team took home 5 trophies: 1° place in the Fairyweight (0.33lb) with Pico Titan, Antweight (1lb) with Micro Touro and Sumo (1.1lb) with Mini Coiote. Also we reached the podium of 2º and 3º place of the Fairyweight cathegory winning it all with Pico Maloney and Pico Touro, respectively.

Nos dias 16 e 17 de agosto, a RioBotz participou, pela segunda vez, do V Salão de Robótica no Campus Colombo da Universidade Federal do Paraná. O evento tem como objetivo apresentar ao público as evoluções na área de robótica, o impacto através de competições, sendo elas: Combate de Robôs (categorias de 150g até 1360 g), Mini Sumô (500g), Seguidor de Linha e a Olimpíada Brasileira de Robótica.

Voltamos de Curitiba com 5 troféus: 1° lugar nas categorias Fairyweight com o robô Pico Titan, Antweight com o Micro Touro e Mini Sumô com o Mini Coiote. Ainda garantimos 2º e 3º lugar da Fairyweight tomando todo o pódio com Pico MAloney e Pico Touro, respectivamente.
