Winter Challenge 2019

Entre os dias 12 e 15 de setembro, na cidade de Concórdia em Santa Catarina, participamos do Winter Challenge, o maior torneio de robôs da América Latina. O evento contou com a participação de equipes de todo o Brasil e de outros países.

Tivemos Micro Touro, Micro Maloney, Micro Titan e Micro Puma na categoria Antweight (454g); Mini Touro, Mini Puma e Mini Maloney na categoria Beetleweight (1,36kg); Touro Júnior na categoria Hobbyweight (5,44 Kg); Touro Feather na categoria Featherweight (13,6 Kg); e Touro Light na categoria Lightweight (27,2 kg). Também contamos com dois robôs Seguidores de Linha (Line Followers): Lince e Papacuras. Seguindo com os Sumôs, participaram Bumba e Mini Coiote do Mini Sumô (500g), já no Sumô Autônomo de 3Kg levamos Aldebaran+, e no Sumô de Rádio Controlado de 3Kg, Aldebaran. Além disso, tivemos a participação do Puma+ na categoria Trekking.

Os ouros foram o Micro Maloney e o invicto Mini Coiote. Pratas para Mini Puma, Touro Feather e Touro Light. Finalmente, Touro Junior e Micro Touro levaram bronze.

The largest robot competition in Latin America took place in the city of Concordia, Brazil, between September 12 and 15, 2019. Teams from all over Brazil and other countries competed in the event.

Our Antweight robots (1lb weight class) were Micro Touro, Micro Maloney, Micro Titan and Micro Puma. We also had Mini Touro, Mini Puma and Mini Maloney (Beetleweight - 3lb). In the big arena we brought Touro Junior (Hobbyweight – 12lb), Touro Feather (Featherweight – 30lb), and Touro Light (Lightweight – 60lb). Besides combat, we also participated in the Line Follower category with Lince and Papacuras; in Mini Sumo (500g) with Bumba and Mini Coiote; in 3kg-Sumo with Aldebaran (R/C) and Aldebaran+ (autonomous); and finally in the Trekking category with Puma+.

Micro Maloney and the undefeated Mini Coiote got 2 golds for RioBotz. Mini Puma, Touro Feather and Touro Light were silver. And finally Touro Junior and Micro Touro, with bronze.
